Herbs for bath
How to make lavender bathwater? Put one part lavender flowers with two parts bay leaves, four parts fine oatmeal and four parts bran in a saucepan with water and simmer for an hour. Strain and add a cupful to your bath to guarantee a good night's sleep. You will enjoy the aromatic scent of lavender. Try to do mindfulness while you dream away in your own spa. When you leave the bathtub, you're ten years younger and your mind is clear. You are ready for the day, or just ready for bed. And ready for a lovely night of deep sleep.
Moisturiser with herbs
Make your own marigold moisturiser. You'll find easy-to-grow pot marigold seed in our garden centre. Melt 150g emulsifying cream over a pan of boiling water, then add 70g glycerol and 80ml water and stir. Stir in 30g dried marigold petals, and simmer for three hours: strain and store in the fridge. If you take the goods out, you created your own moisturiser. Save money and plastic by making your own moisturiser. Want to try other fragrances or seeds? Herbal foot bath
This is probably our favourite beauty tip. Pick a large handful of mixed fresh herbs: sage, thyme, sweet marjoram and bay work wonders. But is you prefer rosemary, dill, pepper or chilli, be our guest! Put in a large bowl of boiling water with a tablespoon of salt and when it's cooled a little, sink your feet in. The ultimate reviver after a tiring day. And your feet will feel soft after you do this. The minerals and vitamins in the herbs make your skin feel softer. Variate with different herbs to find your perfect combination. Relax with a cup of tea and read a good book. This is relaxing to the max!
